DUO RIDE: / Revpal \ Talisay / Talisay | Breakfast at Bag of Beans (Out and Back)

---

Return to road bike goodness for Julius.

He's worried about climbing Revpal, but makes it to the Palace gates with no problems whatsoever.

Breathtaking views. Canlubang Golf Course looks like a savanna. I think that's what a savanna looks like.

No stopping at the Palace, U-turn straight to Talisay segment.

First time for Julius and I to go down, then up Talisay.

While stopping to take a picture, another rider approaches. Says he rode from Las Piñas. Panis.

Way too many dogs.

Arrive lakeside, Las Piñas guy arrives shortly after. I tell him to check out Sungay. Evil man!

Climb back up Talisay. Unlike the last time, the Sun is out.

We ride past Julius's friend, Rejie, (aka Gran Matador master) who's descending.

Talisay climb PR. Now my favourite route.

Breakfast at Bag of Beans. After one week of waiting, I order the Beef Tapa. S'do dis!

"Sir, ubos na po tapa."

:|

At least they still have the ice blended coffee.

I take a photo of the ice blended coffee. I think I just turned into a millennial.

And this is a blog. Looks like I'm a millennial in denial.

Not posting that photo. Resist. Chase-1. Millenials-0

Back down to Nuvali via Revpal.

Descent PR attempt thwarted by a slow jeep.

TLDR

- Super Randonneur Julius finally back on a roadie instead of a foldie.
- Spectacular views throughout.
- First time for the both of us to go down to Talisay, then up.
- No beef tapa at Bag of Beans
